Common questions
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AYWA. You can also get there from AYWA: Settings → AYWA Premium → Manage subscription.
I bought Premium but it isn’t showing
Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy, then open Settings (your initial at the top of any page) → AYWA Premium and tap Restore purchases.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
I’m getting a new iPhone. Will my records move?
The simplest way: back up to an account (Settings → Account & backup; sign in with Apple or your email). On the new iPhone, tap “I already have an account” on the first screen and sign in the same way. Without an account, your records move with your iPhone when you set up the new one from an iCloud or computer backup, or with Quick Start. You can also save a copy any time: Settings → Privacy & your data → Export my records.
What if I lose my iPhone or delete AYWA?
If you back up to an account, sign in on your new iPhone and your records come back. Without an account, your records live only on your iPhone, so we can’t restore them for you. If iCloud Backup (or a backup to your computer) is on, setting up a new iPhone from that backup brings AYWA’s records with it. Without a backup they can’t be recovered, so we recommend keeping iCloud Backup on and saving a copy now and then: Settings → Privacy & your data → Export my records. Your AYWA Premium subscription is tied to your Apple Account: on a new phone, open Settings → AYWA Premium → Restore purchases.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Privacy & your data → Delete my records removes them from your iPhone; deleting the app does too. If you have an account, Settings → Account & backup → Delete account deletes everything stored with it.
How do I share with my partner?
With an account, Settings → Share a baby’s care creates a code your partner enters in AYWA (on the first screen, “I have an invite code”, or Settings → Join someone’s care). You choose whether they can log too, and for how long. To let your partner follow your pregnancy or cycle, use Settings → Share your pregnancy (or Share your cycle): they see a short summary you preview first, never your records.
Reminders aren’t showing
Check that notifications are allowed for AYWA in iPhone Settings → Notifications → AYWA, and that the reminder is turned on in Settings → Reminders & medications.
How are my period and fertile days estimated?
From the period dates you log, using the calendar method. Estimates get steadier as you log more cycles, but they are never exact. AYWA isn’t a form of contraception.
